It’s not even a job, really, which is probably why they give it to nice elderly people who can’t do much else. All it takes is a reasonably cheery disposition – one doesn’t even have to be especially friendly to hold down the Greeter job at the Big Box stores. Occasionally handing a cart to a new customer is expected, but not always.
There’s a job out there for Zeke, and one day he just might find it. Unfortunately, being a Greeter at BoxMart probably isn’t going to last.
